Canadian Quilt Talk Episode 14 - The Mini Fibre Art Exchange

On this week's episode we’ll be talking about fun exchange ideas for your guild or group and I’ll give you 5 ways to plan for success!

Artist Trading Cards (ATCs)
And . . .We have a winner for this week's Quilter's Corner -  Sharon Pratt. First she told me she loves my podcast and then she wrote the most adorable story about her grandkids!  Congratulations Sharon! You win 8 Canadian Fat Quarters of Briar Rose fabrics brought to you by Daydreams of Quilts on Etsy.

Today's prize for the weekly Quilter's Corner is brought to you by Daydreams of Quilts - an online shop selling Quilting and Craft supplies. You can visit Daydreams of Quilts on Etsy. They also carry Divine Twine.

Shop now on Etsy for your 10% discount at Daydreams of Quilts

I already tried it out myself and bought some adorable Divine Twine. It's such a simple and easy process. You really should check it out!

And here's a great little story. . . Anita of Daydreams of Quilts was one of the very first story submissions and a Quilter's Corner winner on Canadian Quilt Talk. Remember? She jumped in the lake naked on a dare to get $50 to spend at the fabric shop! I just had to mention that because I think she is so sweet for advertising on the show and paying it forward with a great prize for another listener. Thanks Anita!

Until next time . . . dream big and work hard in the studio . . . with Canadian Quilt Talk!

  1. Hi Brandy Lynn, I have a question for the Gentle Judge... What is the most common thing you see that needs improvement when judging? Is there one thing for which you often find yourself deducting points? Thank you. Shari K.

  2. I loved Sharon's story... It is priceless!! I am no where near being a grandmother but I have quite a few friends who are and they always share stories about their grandchildren, so I can just imagine the excitement with expecting one... And what a thrill to learn of two babies at once, like Sharon and her family!! Wow! I always feel that there is a reason for everything and coincidence is never an accident! I will always think of this story!
